This is in continuation to my previous two articles. They were about:

If your computer/laptop was infected was by ProtectFile.vbs virus the second post above will help you remove the virus. But I didn’t tell you how to remove the virus from your USB device or Pendrive. Removing the virus from your Pendrive is similar to the process of removing the virus from your computer. You just need to keep the pendrive inserted all throughout the process, and follow the steps in this article considering it as another drive of your computer. Say, if your hard disk has four partitions (C,D,E,F) then most probably your pendrive will be the H drive. Let me know via comments if you find any difficulty in removing it.

This is just one of the virus that must have crept in to your computer from your usb device/ pendrive . There are many other viruses that try to get in to your system. Some of them are detected by your anti virus software and blocked, but still many viruses get in to your system even after being scanned by your antivirus. The next article is about how to safegaurd your computer from them.
